Job Introduction
What you’ll do
Reporting to Estate Services Manager, you will support with ensuring the day-to-day cleaning services are delivered to the best standard possible. You will make sure that services covering cleaning, window cleaning, bulk rubbish and pest control are completed within contractual timeframes and within budget supporting the NHG better places strategy.
How you’ll do it
You will do this by spending a large amount of time on our sites with our contractors and residents. You will set clear guidelines around what is expected making sure the quality of work provides value for our residents and makes the communal spaces as nice as possible. You will hold our contractors to account on their key performance indicators through collaborative and ad hoc inspections. You will seek innovative ways to drive value and quality by using your local knowledge as well as industry best practice in the cleaning as well as the housing sector. You will support our residents safe use of place spaces through assisting with raising repairs and inspecting the areas.

If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
Essential:
- A passion for being outdoors with a good knowledge of cleaning and associated tasks
- Experience in contract management
- A drive to deliver excellent services for residents
Desirable:
- Experience or knowledge of play areas and play space maintenance
- Experience of knowledge of pest control management
