What you’ll do
Notting Hill Genesis has recently completed a major digital change programme using Microsoft Azure, moving services to the cloud to make a positive impact on the lives of its residents and to achieve greater business efficiency. Cyber Security sits at the heart of IT.

As the Cyber Security Analyst, an all-encompassing role in the delivery of cyber security, you’ll cover delivery across operations, identifying and protecting against threats across the Digital, IT and data estate, work on key projects and focus on Microsoft security solutions. How you’ll do it
Key tasks include;
  • Work with vendors, third party providers, the SOC and internal teams to focus on IT security for continuous improvement and adherence to policy.
  • Develop and maintain secure device builds and configuration profiles for assets within Intune. Advise on processes for patch management & threat hunting using Sentinel & KQL. Respond to incidents in Sentinel and Defender platforms.
  • Identify and understand threats for internet facing systems, cloud infrastructure and applications, creating remediation tracking along with penetration testing, automated and manual.
  • Lead and develop expertise in securing Azure cloud resources. Review and improve security policies in network security, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online.
  • Work closely with the SOC in handling security incidents, lead in investigations and resolution.
  • Assist and advise the Head of Cyber Security, IT Architects and Cloud Infrastructure teams in design, management, and implementation of cyber security projects.
  • Ensure proper reporting for management summaries and metrics with input to BIA/BCP/DR Strategies.
The technical environment includes the full Microsoft cloud environment, Azure tools and services along with ServiceNow. AD, AAD, Backup & Site Recovery, Bastion, Sentinel and Policies. A full network & systems environment, Contact Centre (Teams), Windows PC, mobile phones, tablets & Server operating systems. All aspects of the role will require you to provide a high quality, customer focused, responsive service, in line with NHG’s cultural and corporate strategies.

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.

You will need thorough experience in Cyber Security/IT operations and/or equivalent business level certifications, possibly MS EUC/Security accreditations, CISSP, or SSCP, CEH, MS Azure Architect and ITIL along with;
  • Previous cyber security experience in a public cloud environment
  • Significant experience of managing an EUC estate within InTune, including developing hardened device builds, patch cycles, compliance policies and overcoming any platform-related issues.
  • A technical understanding of complex infrastructure and networking in a MS Azure environment
  • Sound knowledge of Information Security and governance concepts and standards, including NIST and NCSC security frameworks.
  • Sound knowledge of Red Team concepts
  • Experience of SIEM implementation, the MITRE ATT&CK Framework & threat hunting, KQL and modelling.
