Disrepair Liaison Co-ordinator

What you’ll do

As a Disrepair Liaison Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of our disrepair service, helping to ensure cases are managed efficiently and residents receive a responsive, high-quality service. Working closely with the Disrepair Lead, you’ll act as a key point of contact for contractors, frontline teams and stakeholders, helping to coordinate activity, resolve queries and keep cases progressing.

The Disrepair Liaison Coordinator role combines customer service, administration, performance monitoring and contractor liaison. You’ll help monitor KPIs, coordinate reporting, manage purchase orders and support the smooth running of the service, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and used to drive improvements.

How you’ll do it

  • Act as a main point of contact for contractors, frontline teams, stakeholders and customers, responding to and coordinating disrepair-related queries. 
  • Ensure disrepair enquiries are logged, progressed and escalated appropriately where required.
  • Monitor contractor performance and support the preparation of reports covering programmes of work, KPIs and service delivery performance.
  • Collect, analyse and present information from contractors, consultants and operational teams to support decision-making and service improvements. 
  • Raise purchase orders, process invoices, monitor spend and ensure financial processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, including agendas, attendance, note-taking and follow-up actions.
  • Support the wider team through general administrative and coordination activities, including providing cover for colleagues where necessary.
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders, helping to improve communication, performance and resident outcomes.

Hybrid working applies with at least two days per week in the office

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification. 

Essential:

  • Experience providing a customer-focused service, particularly in an environment supporting customers with similar needs. 
  • Knowledge of repairs within the housing sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety requirements relating to residents and contractors. 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to housing repairs services.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes.
  • Full UK driving licence or the ability to travel to various sites.
