Job Introduction

What you’ll do
As the Finance Business Partner for Compliance, you will support the financial operations and strategy within the Asset Management and Sustainability team.  You will develop and implement financial strategies that support and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of this team. 

As a key member of the Finance team, you will drive a customer centric ethos and continuous improvement culture within our Finance team, ensuring all finance services deliver the best outcomes for our residents

How you’ll do it
    Partnering with the business to provide financial insights and develop financial management strategies for the needs of the Compliance team
    Provide support to the Finance Manager Assets and Strategic Projects, providing data and analysis on the financial implications of decisions made by the Compliance team
    Ensure robust financial processes are adhered to, to facilitate the management of emerging opportunities and challenges.
    Act as a strategic financial advisor to the Compliance team, developing financial models to aid data driven decision-making
    Produce financial planning and reporting for this areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness and facilitating the consolidation into the wider Asset and Sustainability team.
    Develop and adapt reporting processes to meet evolving needs, offering insightful financial analysis.
    Maintain accurate data, managing large complex data sets on excel and in-house systems

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
 
In addition, you will need the following: 
 
    Hold, or be actively working towards, a CCAB recognised accounting qualification.
    Previous experience of business partnering with non-Finance colleagues, providing finance expertise and commercial challenge
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audience engagement; work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
    Capable of analysing complex data to provide data driven proposals
    Experience influencing operational activities at both tactical and strategic levels across all areas of the business
    Experience manipulating large and complex data sets across multiple systems
    Previous experience working in a regulatory/compliance environment would be an advantage
    Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, knowledge of D365 preferred
    Uphold ethical principles including integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality, and professional behaviour
