Job Introduction
What you’ll do
As the Finance Systems Manager, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. You will be responsible for establishing robust and effective system controls around our financial transactions. You will lead ongoing and future enhancements to guarantee timely and high-quality financial reporting.
How you’ll do it
- Administering the chart of accounts, P2P, management and financial monitoring and reporting.
- Oversight of administering system controls i.e.user Ids, access rights, authorisation and budgetary limits.
- Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the NHG IT team and other suppliers to ensure that finance systems are fully embedded into the overall IT strategy
- Designing and delivering training courses to staff on the D365 accounting system
- Managing the control process for changes to the accounting system, including maintenance of the chart of accounts, and controls in relation to set up of new accounts and housekeeping review.
- Continuous review the effectiveness of all interfaces into the D365 accounting system ensuring that Finance is involved in any changes to NHG’s IT framework

- Demonstrable experience of managing a finance IT system ; specifically a D365 accounting system
- Significant experience of implementing and maintaining a robust finance IT systems control environment
- Prior experience of working with large volumes of financial transactions on computerised financial systems.
- Hold or studying for a CCAB recognised accounting qualification with supporting CPD.
- Be a confident and experienced role model and leader, ensuring you reflect the values of the organisation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse audience engagement; work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
