What you’ll do
Notting Hill Genesis, one of London's largest housing associations, are seeking a Head of Estate Services to join our thriving Places and Estates team! As the Head of Estate Services, you will lead NHGs estate services teams as they deliver a range of key services to over 30,000 homes. Focusing on our better places strategic aims you will make the area around our homes clean, welcoming and safe. You will drive best practice and excellent standards as part of our better places vision via our mix of contractors and in house teams.
How you’ll do it
You will do this by leading and working with your team ensuring our internal teams and external contractors provide the best possible services to make the better places focus a reality. A strong commitment to performance, value for money and sustainability will be at the core of what you do. A dedication to safety with an emphasis on data to help maximise resources in all areas of the team will enable you to achieve the strategic aims of the role.
The ideal candidate

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
Essential:
- A strong track record of leading large scale complex contracts resulting in positive outcomes
- A history of leading and inspiring your teams to deliver whilst retaining the customer at the heart of your work
- A demonstrable knowledge of the key elements of estate services through qualifications or experience.
- A strong understanding of financial oversight and budget management
- A qualification (level 4 or higher) in a relevant subject area e.g. property or management, contract or project management
Desirable:
- The ability to harness large scale and complex data to facilitate targeted outcomes
- A passion for pushing and developing services with experience in modernising teams and processes in delivering outcomes.
