Job Introduction
Our Information Technology Team is focused on delivering great services for our Customers which includes the security of our systems and data and the infrastructure we utilise and the management of our suppliers who work with us to achieve this.
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager who will be responsible for the day to day security of systems and the information and data within them across Notting Hill Genesis.
Main Responsibility
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing the day to day work and priorities of the Cyber Security team
- Monitoring our security and ensuring we deal with vulnerabilities and risks, upgrades or improvements in how we work
- Proactively getting the most from our tools such as Defender and that our procedures are optimised to do so
- Assessing current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement
- Delivering, and with the Head of Cyber Security, developing our strategy, which includes: Implementing and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment
- Providing information security awareness training to internal staff and supporting the wider business in their BCP work
- Supporting security audits and developing and managing a program of checking and audits
- Owning and developing our security monitoring
- Providing training to security personnel during onboarding
- Providing the key business contact and lead for information security within the organisation.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally hold a security qualification such as CISSP, CISM or alternative cyber security qualification. The candidate will have experience with threat and vulnerability management, understanding of ISO27001, and working knowledge of data protection legislation and acting as lead on cyber security audits and be experienced in MS Defender tools (which you will be required to use and act as a mentor for others upon)
Additionally, we are looking for someone who is skilled in cyber security strategy development as well and influencing and negotiation.
The role is hands on – you will be comfortable delivering security services first hand and working through tools to ensure we are meeting our targets and working with and organising a team, including third party SOC and others to delver your workplan. The management aspect of this role is a key element so we are looking for someone who is equally at home doing and leading work and comfortable working at all levels of the business from engagement with executive to operational colleagues both face to face and in scenarios from workshops and larger meetings through to 1:1 meetings.
