What you’ll do
As a Leasehold Manager, you'll lead, manage, and motivate a team of property managers dedicated to delivering exceptional services. Beyond team management, you will act as an ambassador for residents, driving positive change within NHG for their benefit. 

Your primary responsibility is to ensure that your team understands resident needs, takes ownership of issues, and sees tasks through to completion, always advocating for our customers. Your expertise as the go-to subject matter expert in property-related, service charge, and leasehold matters will be invaluable. 

You'll lead your teams through complexity, balancing customer and business needs to deliver outstanding results for both. Collaboration with housing counterparts is integral, ensuring alignment with our customer strategy.

How you’ll do it
You'll promote collaborative approaches, ensuring team engagement to deliver objectives effectively. 
  • Taking responsibility for your own development and that of your team
  • Identify learning needs and ensure tailored development plans are in place
  • Cultivate strong external relationships and represent the resident voice within NHG.
  • Utilise customer satisfaction data to address areas of dissatisfaction, while ensuring compliance with income collection procedures and maintaining repairs and asset improvements. 
 
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will possess proven leadership skills, demonstrating success in exceeding KPIs and delivering excellent services to leaseholders. They will have a background in managing leasehold or multi-tenure teams, with a strong understanding of interpreting leases and contracts. They will possess strong financial and budget management skills.

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
 
Essential:
  • Proficiency in interpreting leases and contracts.
  • IRPM (associate) or equivalent property management qualification required, with an expectation to achieve IRPM (member) within 12 months.
Desirable:
  • Passion for maintaining excellent customer service standards and evidence of service improvement achievements.
  • Strong organisational, time, and resource management capabilities.

Selection Process
