Onboarding and Induction Training Manager

Job Introduction

Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s largest housing associations is seeking an Onboarding and Induction Training Manager, a key role within our Operations Directorate. Working in close collaboration with HR, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, onboarding, and training the right talent. This position focuses on aligning recruitment strategies with business forecasting, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences, and implementing comprehensive induction and training programs for new hires.

Main Responsibility

As the Onboarding and Induction Training Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with HR and Operations Directorate to understand business needs, forecasting, and talent requirements.
  • Tailoring recruitment strategies to attract the right candidates.
  • Ensuring an efficient, welcoming, and success-oriented onboarding process for new hires.
  • Designing and implementing role-specific induction and training programs, collaborating with various departments.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Onboarding and Induction Training Leads.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of strategies, making necessary adjustments based on feedback.

Essential:

  • Experience in onboarding processes, and induction training methodologies.
  • Experience in aligning recruitment and training strategies with business forecasting and needs.
  • Ability to design and implement comprehensive training programmes tailored to specific roles and business needs.

Desirable:

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring direct reports.
  • Communication and collaboration skills, adept at building relationships with internal stakeholders and external candidates
