Procurement Managers are a key part of Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) and deliver the procurement programme through an effective business partnering approach. Ensuring it is delivered in a robust and commercially effective manner across NHG, effectively managing risks and ensuring that third-party products and services align with NHG's core values while contributing to overall corporate success.

Main Responsibility

The Procurement Department have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team. Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) spend around £600 million per year with third parties. As a result, Procurement has become an increasingly vital service helping to drive compliance and commercial thinking, ensuring our spending power is maximised to deliver efficiencies and savings across the business.

This position will play a key role within the team and will see you lead on complex procurement projects. You will work closely with the Senior Procurement Manager developing procurement strategies and independently delivering a wide range of procurement projects, through a variety of procurement procedures. The wide scope will ensure that your work is varied and challenging and will suit someone who is comfortable taking responsibility and enjoys building strong relationships.
 

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has experience within procurement, preferably within the Housing sector. We are seeking someone who has delivered on complex above threshold tenders and has previous exposure to Find a Tender (FTS) compliant frameworks. You will be familiar with the new procurement regulations and have up to date knowledge of any new changes to help drive our procurement function.

You should have excellent knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR's 2015) and available procurement procedures and their application in Charity / Social Housing context.

Confidence and good communication skills is key as you will be expected to build and manage effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Most of all we need you to be a strong team player, capable of adapting to fluctuating workloads and being keen to assist colleagues when required.
