Job Introduction
The Assets and Sustainability team is determined to deliver better services to our residents. Over the last 18 months we've been busy working through the procurement process for some of our most high profile services. We've got brand new specifications and exacting standards for the suppliers to achieve. We're now at the stage where we need to successfully mobilise these new contracts to deliver for our residents now and in the years to come.
We're looking for a project manager who can create and deliver robust mobilisation plans to get these contracts off to the best possible start. A key element of these plans will be to review and document the processes we want our staff and contractors to follow as part of the new contractual arrangements and the project manager will also lead this work.
Main Responsibility
Your primary project will be to mobilise our flagship Fire Risk Assessment Remedial Works contracts. These contracts will deliver safety critical works that keep our residents, buildings and business safe. We want you to develop a clear, deliverable plan, that launches these contracts safely and allows NHG staff and contractors to focus on delivering for our residents. As part of the project to mobilise the contracts we want improve the processes we use to deliver this work, and and this will be a key element of the role.
Alongside the FRA Remedial Works contracts we've also got new Lift contracts and Heat Network contracts to mobilise.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will need to have project management and process/business improvement experience. There is no requirement to have any significant knowledge of fire risk assessments, lifts or heat networks. We want someone with strong communication skills, excellent people skills, an ability to build partnerships and a desire to make a difference.
This position will suit those looking to further their careers in project management and/or business improvement. We believe we work best when we work together so you'll spend at least three days a week at our London Head Office in Kings Cross.
