What you’ll do

Notting Hill Genesis, one of London's leading housing associations, is seeking a Repairs Delivery Team Manager to join us on a 9-month contract. As Repairs Delivery Team Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of our responsive repairs service, ensuring it's efficient, high-quality and resident-focused. You'll manage a Repairs team, oversee contractor performance, and drive service improvements that align with our Better Together strategy. This is a leadership role with real impact - helping us maintain safe, well-cared-for homes and delivery a repairs experience our residents can rely on. 

How you’ll do it

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, embedding a culture of service improvement.
  • Oversee the delivery of day-to-day repairs, ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with Customer Services and other teams to resolve escalated cases and improve resident experience.
  • Use data and insight to track performance, identify risks, and implement improvements.
  • Support budget management and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct post and audit inspections, ensuring service excellence and continuous learning.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external contractors to maintain properties and drive strategic improvements.

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification. 

Essential:

  • Experience delivering repair improvement plans across complex delivery models.
  • Proven track record of leading performance improvement projects in a repairs or property services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of repair and maintenance processes, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience in team leadership and staff development.

Desirable:

  • Business management degree or similar, or relevant experience.
