Senior Stakeholder and Communications Adviser

Job Introduction

Do you have experience in communication? Do you have a passion to develop and deliver communication plans to support the work of our Building Safety team?

This is a great opportunity for someone who really wants to make a difference, leading on effective resident and stakeholder communications, while supporting the development of the customer engagement plans required as part of the Building Safety Case.  

With over 30 live projects ongoing, we’ll need someone great to engage residents and stakeholders on our building safety matters and co-ordinate the communication activities of the team, keeping residents and key stakeholders up to date and informed.   

Main Responsibility

You will have the opportunity to demonstate your ability to implement effective communication plans regarding our inspection and remediation programmes to ensure visibility of the progress of the Building Safety Team and bring back issues for the building safety team to resolve. With evolving legislation, you also make a positive difference working to ensure: 

  • The team are aware of all legislative and regulatory changes proposed.
  • The team are supported to deliver key messages about individual projects.
  • Communication between teams is effective to ensure we respond to queries and complaints in a timely way.
  • Planned meetings take place at regular intervals with residents and key stakeholders.
  • Key timeframes are communicated effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

We'll expect you to have practical experience of developing and implementing communications campaigns and the ability to explain complex messages in  an engaging way across a variety of channels.  Your excellent writing, editing and communication skills will be critical in supporting us to turn detailed information into compelling content, tailored for diverse audiences.  Alongside the relevant experience, we'll be looking for your passion, enthusiasm and drive to get things done.
