Job Introduction
What you’ll do
As a Team Coordinator in our Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Compliance team, you will play a vital role in supporting the team. Your responsibilities will include managing the team inbox, assigning jobs to contractors for reactive repairs related to various M&E components such as lifts, fire systems, electrical systems, and door entry systems. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact for the M&E team, directing queries and responding to requests from the business.
How you’ll make a difference:
Your role will ensure all reactive jobs raised to M&E are assigned to the correct contractors on time, following set guidelines. Your prompt handling of queries will ensure our residents feel safe in their homes and our buildings remain secure.
How you’ll do it
- Monitor the M&E team inbox daily, assigning jobs to contractors as per their program, dealing with emergencies promptly, and ensuring all emails are actioned.
- Communicate with the business to ensure purchase orders are received before assigning jobs to contractors.
- Respond to queries from the business and contractors, liaising with the appropriate Contracts Officer.
- Serve as the main point of contact for operational colleagues, contractors, stakeholders, and residents regarding M&E queries.
- Update jobs assigned with daily work-in-progress reports from contractors.
- Support the team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
- Ensure relevant data is updated and cascaded to other teams.
- Ensure you follow the financial regulations, policies and procedures at NHG.
- Hybrid arrangements – minimum three days in the office, 2 days working from home.
