What you’ll do
Notting Hill Genesis, one of London’s biggest housing associations, is seeking a Head of Repair Operations to join our thriving team. As the Head of Repair Operations, you will play a crucial role in leading strategic and operational initiatives for repairs, maintenance, and property services.
 
How you’ll do it
As a member of the Repairs SMT, the Head of Repair Operations will be an integral contributor to the development of NHG’s Better Together and Repairs strategy. 

Your main duties will include:
  • Leading the delivery of consistently high-quality repairs and maintenance services that deliver against NHG’s six Customer Priorities
  • Forging strong relationships with stakeholders, including Executive Board members, operational colleagues, contractors, and local authorities
  •  Establish and promote collaborative approaches to engage teams in successfully delivering organisational objectives
  • Developing a disrepair improvement plan on cross-business learning to mitigate active disrepair
  • Overseeing disrepair management across all regions and tenures, ensuring high-quality homes for our residents
  • Utilising data analysis to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness, promoting a resident-centric approach
The Ideal Candidate

Essential:
  • A proven track record of successful team leadership and improvement programme delivery
  • Experience in effectively managing large service budgets
  • Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
  • Degree in a relevant field such as property management, building surveying, or construction management. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, CIOB)
  • Able to deploy effective leadership to persuade others through strong business cases
  • Effective IT skills including basic/intermediate MS Office skills
