Internal and transformation communications lead

Job Introduction

What you’ll do

As Internal and Transformation Communications Lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we communicate one of the most important periods of change at Notting Hill Genesis. Sitting within the Corporate Affairs function, you’ll lead the development and delivery of an inclusive, engaging and effective internal communications programme that connects colleagues to our strategy, our purpose, and our transformation journey.

You’ll translate complex business priorities and transformation initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that support performance improvement and help colleagues understand the “why” and “what next.” Your work will ensure communication is consistent, timely and impactful—helping to reduce uncertainty and embed new ways of working across the organisation.

This is a senior, high-impact role working closely with leadership across NHG, including advising the Executive Board, and leading a small internal communications and engagement team to deliver real organisational change.

How you’ll do it

  • Develop and deliver a robust internal communications strategy aligned to NHG’s organisational priorities, values and transformation programme.
  • Lead the creation of compelling narratives that help colleagues understand the context, purpose and impact of transformation.
  • Oversee integrated, multi-channel communications across digital platforms, intranet, email campaigns and live events, including town halls.
  • Partner with senior leaders, including the CEO and Executive Board, to strengthen leadership communications and engagement.
  • Collaborate across Corporate Affairs to ensure a consistent organisational narrative across internal and external audiences.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing internal communications and engagement team, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Equip leaders and managers with the tools, messaging and briefing materials needed to communicate change confidently and consistently.
  • Use data and colleague insight to shape communications that are inclusive, accessible and relevant to a diverse and dispersed workforce.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, embed our values and support culture change across the organisation.
  • Oversee internal engagement initiatives including employee volunteering programmes and aligned communication approaches.
