Job Introduction
Repairs is a key, high profile element of the services provided by NHG, requiring constant monitoring to ensure effective delivery to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and cost control to a property portfolio of approximately 60,000 domestic properties across all London Boroughs. We are looking to recruit a Repairs Performance and Data Analyst within our Operations team to play an active role in supporting the team to ensure the service delivers exceptional customer service via effective performance reporting and solution-based support.
Main Responsibility
Your knowledge and experience of managing performance data within a high-volume repairs and maintenance environment is essential. As a Repairs Data and Performance Analyst you will be expected to generate performance reports from a wide range of internal and external database sources, to ensure contractual KPI’s, Customer Satisfaction and budgeting targets are achieved. Reporting directly to the Head of Repairs Contracts and Performance, this role is responsible for the timely production of performance and commercial reports for several key repairs-based stakeholders for presentation to Board, Supply Chain and Senior Management team operational meetings. The reports will take the form of statistical data supported by a written narrative. They will highlight emerging trends to ensure speedy actions are undertaken should any performance concerns be identified, providing feedback to the operational teams.
You will produce engaging reporting products including dashboards and visualisations to deliver performance sights and therefore improve performance and maintain a detailed understanding of BI reporting, utilising various data sources.
A strong understanding and experience of using Microsoft Office products and client-based database systems to interrogate data to make informed performance decisions are key to this role, as well as having the ability to support the Repairs team in delivering their service through the provision of accurate information.
The Ideal Candidate
The Repairs Performance and Data Analyst will have experience of working in a similar environment with clear and demonstrable experience in the preparation of statistical and written performance reports, highlighting operational and commercial performance. Utilising information presented by both in-house and our supply chain database platforms to produce standard reporting is a key requirement within this position. Therefore, a clear understanding and experience of IT packages is essential as is an understanding of methods of interpreting the data into operational monitoring information.
You will be able to interpret the data to identify trends and patterns within the submitted information to inform the operational teams clearly and proactively, from which they will make informed decisions.
You will have strong analytical ability with excellent IT skills, and a clear understanding of the complexities within the Housing Repairs environment.
- You will have exceptional data management and analytical skills
- Demonstrable experience of MS Windows/Office applications (Excel to intermediate level)
- Experience of operating and interrogating data from business database platforms, ideally from within a repairs environment
- Exceptional problem management skills with the ability to investigate trends and to apply a methodical approach to identify root cause and suggestions for solution
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to present reports at all levels, both statistical and written.
