Talent and Performance Partner

Job Introduction

Welcome

Thank you for your interest in joining the People Directorate at Notting Hill Genesis.

This is an exciting time to join NHG. Our People function is evolving to become more confident, proactive and insight‑led, working closely with leaders to build capability, strengthen performance and support the delivery of great outcomes for residents.

People Development sits at the heart of our People Strategy. We help leaders and colleagues build the capability, confidence and culture needed to deliver high‑quality, resident‑focused services—now and in the future. Our work plays a key role in shaping NHG’s leadership approach, performance culture and colleague experience across the organisation.

The Talent & Performance Partner plays a vital role in this ambition. This is a hands‑on partnering role for someone who enjoys working closely with leaders to embed consistent, valuesled approaches to performance, talent and leadership development.

What the role is all about

As a Talent & Performance Partner, reporting to the Head of Talent & Performance, you’ll work in close partnership with leaders, HR Business Partners and Learning & Development colleagues to deliver NHG’s talent and performance approach.

You’ll support the design and delivery of performance, values and talent processes that help leaders identify, develop and retain talent. This includes supporting performance and values frameworks, talent‑review and succession activity, and leadership capability development across NHG.

The role blends partnering, facilitation and insight. You’ll help leaders apply clear, consistent performance expectations, build confidence in performance conversations, and strengthen leadership capability so NHG has the talent and pipelines it needs for the future.

How you’ll make a difference

You’ll help strengthen NHG’s talent and performance culture by:

  • Working with leaders and people partners to embed consistent, valuesaligned performance practices
  • Supporting effective talentreview and succession processes that identify potential and future capability needs
  • Helping leaders build confidence in performance conversations and feedback
  • Supporting leadership and management development activity that strengthens capability and behaviours
  • Using talent and workforce insight to inform planning, prioritisation and development decisions
  • Your contribution will be seen through clearer performance expectations, stronger leadership capability, improved talent pipeline visibility and a positive, highperforming colleague experience.

How you’ll do it

You’ll work collaboratively across NHG to deliver consistent, highquality talent and performance activity. This includes:

  • Partnering with leaders, HRBPs and L&D colleagues to support performance, values and talent frameworks
  • Supporting and coordinating talentreview and successionplanning processes
  • Helping leaders apply consistent, evidencebased approaches to assessing performance, potential and behaviours
  • Delivering and supporting leadership, management and performancefocused sessions and interventions
  • Embedding NHG’s values into performance conversations and leadership development
  • Using talent, performance and workforce insights to highlight strengths, gaps, risks and opportunities
  • Gathering feedback and insight to continuously improve talent and performance activity
  • Working closely with the wider People Development team to ensure a joinedup, valuesled approach
  • You’ll help ensure talent, leadership and performance activity is practical, consistent and clearly aligned to organisational priorities.

All about you

Essential

  • Experience supporting or delivering talent, performance or leadership development activity, ideally in a complex organisation
  • Understanding of performance frameworks, valuesbased behaviours and talentreview processes
  • Experience working in partnership with leaders and HR teams to support consistent people processes
  • Ability to use talent, performance or workforce insights to inform decisions and development planning
  • Confident facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and stakeholdermanagement skills
  • An organised, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commitment to inclusive practice, positive colleague experience and NHG’s values
  • CIPD or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential (or willingness to work towards one).

What’s in it for you?

You’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping NHG’s performance and talent culture, working closely with leaders to develop capability, embed values and build longterm talent pipelines.

Benefits include:

  • Excellent annual leave and flexible working options (qualifying period may apply)
  • Generous pension scheme
  • Enhanced family leave (qualifying period may apply)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Health cash plan
  • Retail, leisure and lifestyle discounts
  • Interestfree loans
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Life assurance – 4x annual salary
